How Many People Told Me I Needed to See Firefly?

You people were right. Watched the first disc, which comprises the pilot and two episodes, last night and I have to say I'm loving it. I don't know where you ever got the idea that a space western would be my kind of show... really... ;-) I really enjoyed the ambience of it, and went to bed (at 3 AM, after watching the entire disc) imagining out all sorts of adventures in space.

But um, for the record, if I ever finish tinkering with my book and it ever gets published, I wrote it before I saw this show. K? Good. I'm not saying it's similar; the setting's certainly different... it's just that whole straggling group of slightly ghetto rebels thing.
