Wealth!
Last night I did $240 in tips on a very busy Saturday. I just wanted to throw that out there. This afternoon while I was busy tossing hundreds and twenties in the air and rolling around in them, it occurred to me to do my taxes. Which led to the thrilling discovery that, after I was finished claiming my destroyed car, my tuition, my student loan interest, and my mysterious Katrina tax credit, I will be receiving $1,180 as a refund this year. Wha--??
One of my most important lessons of 2005: Do not question the Federal Government when it comes bearing gifts.

Nice return! I think mine was only like $900.
I'm excited! I only worked 2/3 of the year due to Katrina, which probably explains the large return.
