Rave: Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager
Picked this one up at the Winn Dixie last week. Yum! I just had one (on Sunday afternoon, yeah yeah what's the problem? We're celebrating being almost done with the semester!) and found it quite tasty. (I am not a particularly discerning beer drinker: I just know it tastes like strawberries!) Yesterday I finished a research paper entitled "Dissecting the Harry Potter Phenomenon: Young Adult Fantasy Fiction and Literacy," in which I, quite enjoyably, cracked open a couple of my young adult books for use as references. I talked in depth about archetypes in Tamora Pierce, J.K. Rowling, and Phillip Pullman.
Yesterday at work was quite disastrous. The Jazz Fest crowd wasn't tipping, and we dropped and broke an exciting number of plates. Good times.
