My Top 5 of 2006

In the previous post, I mentioned that The Privilege of the Sword was one of my top reads in 2006. This got me thinking. What were my top books of 2006? Well, in no particular order, these would be my Top 5:

2. The Privilege of the Sword, Ellen Kushner
3. His Majesty's Dragon, Naomi Novik
4. Forest Mage, Robin Hobb
5. Crystal Rain, Tobias Buckell

(I was going to do a Top 10, but I looked at my bookshelf and realized I am actually abysmally bad at reading books the year they come out. There are a lot of books I plan to finally get to this summer. I read mostly SF/F last year, with some historical fiction and YA mixed in there.)
