In Case You Were Wondering...

Exactly how much of a novel is 59,500 words, which is what I've got? I put it in manuscript format (Courier, 12 pt, double spaced, 1 inch margins) and it's 270 pages. And of course, it's still not finished. But I am taking a couple days off now, so I can look at the thing with fresh perspective and figure out what order I want all the scenes in and make sure the stuff I speed-wrote is OK. But I have (almost) written my first novel!
